Stiletto Magazine - Songe De Robes (France)
16 July 2008

Some argue that fashion is mere folly for the intellectually challenged – others realise that fashion can be a wearable art that could often be hung in galleries! Favourite pieces can tell a story, remind the wearer of a moment in time, evoke awe and provide a character to emerge from simply wearing it.

This shoot by Stiletto Magazine is testament to this theory. Raphael Dallaporta has produced a shoot that needs no model, no glamorous location, no make-up artist and no post production.

The subjects are perfect just as they are. Armani, Givenchy, Chanel and Lacroix are all paid homage as the masters of this fashion period in time. - Kate Vandermeer
